Safety
- If you have any concerns about your physical/mental ability to play Pickleball, consult your physician prior to playing.
- Play in appropriate sports attire (non-marking court shoes, loose clothing, shorts, t-shirt, sweat towel, protective eyewear, etc.)
- Under 16 years of age, protective eyewear is mandatory.
- Over 65 years of age, protective eyewear is mandatory.
- Bring a water bottle and any type of loose snack. It is important to stay hydrated and have enough nutrition while playing.
- Always stretch and warm up before play to reduce risk of injury and prepare for activity. Always stretch and cool down after playing to reduce risk of injury.
- NEVER run backwards. If a shot goes over your head, pivot or turn around to chase the ball or let your partner get it for you.
- Never chase the ball onto another court without looking. When a ball goes into another court, call “BALL ON COURT” immediately to stop play. Raise your hand indicating it is your ball and wait for it to be returned to you.
- If the surface becomes moist from any spills, suspend play and contact the front desk for assistance.
- If you have any eyesight issues, wear a hat, glasses, or any type of protective eyewear needed.
- If an injury or emergency occurs during play, immediately stop all play and contact the front desk for assistance or call 911 if needed.

Etiquette
- Always be friendly and cheerful to other people on the court.Â
- Always introduce yourself to other players.
- Use appropriate language/body language on court.Â
- Players should only call their lines on their side of the court. Do not disupte an opponent’s call.Â
- Play with honest and integrity.Â
- If you or your teammate cannot agree on a call, the call is to the benefit of your opponents.Â
- Each server must call the score before serving. If you are unsure of the score, you can ask your teammate.Â
- Have respect for your teammates and opponents.Â
- At the end of the game, players should tap paddles over the net and thank each other for the game.Â
- If any barriers, benches, coat hangers, garbage bins or other equipment were used, they should all be returned to their original position.Â
- Do not litter on the court. Any garbage, water bottles, broken balls, etc. should be disposed of properly.Â
- Be conscious of your court start and end time. Players should not be staying on court later than their booking without approval.Â
- Personal equipment should be initialed with your name to avoid lost or stolen items.Â
- Any items that you find on the court that don’t belong to you should be reported to the front desk or placed in the lost and found bin.
